In the past few years, we have taught mould-making and wax-casting at The Royal College of Art in Stockholm, Malmo Art College, Sweden and Wimbledon College of Art, London. Students are given a brief background and history of moulding and casting, and are then encouraged to produce a finished piece of work themselves; either something they have previously sculpted, or in some cases, their own body parts. Many students have gone on to have successful careers in the film and television industry, or as artists in their own right.
